On December 11, the 3rd High School named after John Paul II in Elbląg hosted the first Elbląg Careers Festival — an event addressed to students of grades 7 and 8 of primary schools who are about to choose their further educational path and make their first career-related decisions.
Among the participating companies was ML Polyolefins, which remained available to students throughout the day, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The meetings were based on conversation rather than formal presentations. Students had the opportunity to ask how everyday work in a production company looks in practice, what competencies are currently in demand, and what development opportunities the local job market can offer.

Particular interest was drawn to the ML Polyolefins laboratory — a place where students of technical schools complete internships and gain their first professional experience. It is there that theory meets practice and young people can see how polymer testing is carried out and how a modern technological facility operates.

For ML Polyolefins, participation in the festival went beyond a one-day presence. For years, the company has consistently emphasized the importance of building career awareness already at school level. Such initiatives strengthen not only individual companies but also the entire local labour market, showing young people that professional development and stable careers are possible in Elbląg.
